Pottery and hand decoration of slip cast forms started as a creative change from running a busy cattery. Jenny, from Heathfield, has had a lifelong interest in arts and crafts though she followed a career in horticulture before returning to her hometown in 1999.

The majority of her pieces are slip cast in earthenware, decorated in vibrant underglaze colours drawing inspiration from many sources. Recently she has started handbuilding in stoneware and attempting thrown forms.

Though Jenny was born locally and has always had a home base in Heathfield, her family was rooted in the Potteries (Grandpa worked as a guilder at the Minton factory). She has lived and worked in East Anglia, Richmond, and New Zealand.
